The E-mail Specialist position will report to the E-Mail Marketing Manager and will work closely with key marketing personnel to design, develop, code and test e-mails per direction provided for each of the divisions under the Orbus Exhibit & Display Group umbrella. Essential Responsibilities

  • Executes the layout, development, setup, and creation of email templates, leveraging HTML and CSS within StreamSend, Mail Chimp and Constant Contact

  • Follows the designated plan outlined and stays ahead of schedule with layout and testing

  • Perform product testing and log test results

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Engineering
  • Mid to light weight Graphic Designer with a bias towards technical illustration and photography
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Proficient at working on Adobe Creative Cloud using Photoshop, InDesign and illustrator
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office
  • Photography skills
  • Able to manage your own workload and work independently

A growing, dynamic Tradeshow Supply company (Orbus Exhibit & Display Group) in the Southwest Suburbs seeks individual for a full-time Junior Web Developer position with 1-3 years of experience. The Developer will work with the rest of the Web team on the design and development of the company’s websites and applications. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing team in a dynamic and growing company.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop, test and support database-driven and web-based applications.
  • Maintain, monitor, and advance existing web applications and internal web resources.
  • Work closely with team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions.

+ Welder Fabricator (Woodridge)

Welder Fabricator performs duties related to fabricating metal pieces and structures under the direction of the Manager/Team leader to meet standards in the manufacture of exhibit components. Because of the multiple orders at any given time it is a must to work on a variety of different projects when assign by team leader.

Position Duties:

  • Fitting and jointing, fabricating, repairing metal and other wieldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques in accordance with product specifications and production schedules.
  • Study engineering drawings/ details to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
  • Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints/templates or verbal instructions and layout specifications, using jigs, clamps, and other hand tools.
  • Perform efficient welds of various metal objects and prepare all necessary parts to be welded.
  • Work with other Fabricators or Welder/Fabricators to assist in the fabrication or welding of multi-component parts.
  • Provide assistance to production process by setup and operate various fabricating machines, such as benders, drill presses, grinders, punch press, saws, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal/plastic components.
  • Willingness to cross-train and perform work of other job tasks in addition to primary assigned position.
  • Inspect equipment to maintain functional equipment. If any equipment needs repairs, notify manager/team leader.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, as required by Manager/Team leader and as it pertains to the metal fabrication department.
  • Perform work with the help of various hand and power tools.
  • Evaluate/inspect/correct finished products as necessary and perform quality checks on products by using squares, rulers, measuring tapes and other means of verification to meet product specifications.
  • Assemble finished products and deliver to the appropriate department.

Physical Demands:

  • Exposure to welding ark flash.
  • Exposure to hot metal and loud noise level, at times.
  • This position requires continual use of your hands, considerable use of your arms, legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials.
  • Climbing on ladders, working on scaffolds to assemble structures or working in confined spaces, may be required at times.
  • The use of safety equipment such as safety glasses, protective clothing, protecting boots/shoes, welding mask, welding gloves and hearing protection is utilized daily.
  • Must be able to lift, push and maneuver 50 lbs. without physical restrictions.
  • This is a 40 hour per week job with occasional mandatory overtime.
