Awards are based on distributor rating systems collected in SAGE Online, SAGE Web and SAGE Mobile. For 2020 there were 1,067 suppliers that received an A+ rating and 282 suppliers that received an A rating, totaling 32% of all active suppliers in the SAGE database.

The A+ and A ratings allow distributors to make better informed decisions about prospective suppliers. Distributors can only rate each supplier once but can update that rating at any time to reflect the most current and accurate information.
